Got a Database? Got a CMS!

Flashboard didn't begin as a CMS.

It started with something much simpler: instant admin panels.

We were tired of building dashboards from scratch repeatedly. We thought, what if you could connect your database and instantly have a working admin panel? We built it, and the results were great.

The first few users had their minds blown.

They connected their database, and seconds later, a full-blown admin panel, completely based on their schema. Tables, filters, forms—everything was just there. We got some amazing feedback.

That speed—that feeling—is what we wanted to bring to content, too.

Because most teams don't just manage business data.

They also manage copy: blog posts, landing pages, documentation, FAQs, and case studies. And they usually have to stitch that on top of their data—users, products, transactions, etc. Sometimes, even the business data needs rich content, image uploads, and other CMS features.

That's where traditional CMSs fall short: they don't live where your data is. So you end up juggling multiple dashboards and duplicating logic across systems.

We wanted your CMS to live inside your database, right next to everything else.

That's what Flashboard does now.

You connect your database. It reads your schema. You start editing content instantly. No need to learn a new API, write backend glue code, or set up custom integrations.

And since it’s your database, you own everything.

You can write SQL, not GraphQL or REST. And in 2025, SQL is easier than ever—AI tools can write complex queries for you in seconds. No abstraction beats the speed and power of talking directly to your data.

Flashboard gives you one place to manage everything—content and data, side by side, fully under your control.

Got a Database? Got a CMS.

It's never been easier.
